Ann Botelson Morris native to Humblolt Iowa now living over in West Des Moines Iowa, a children's book writer, states her books are in the process of being delivered to libraries that are in need of restocking the shelves that were damaged by the hurricane.
Mommy and Mikel Go for a Walk, one of the title contributed by the author have been shipped after being vetted by the Indie Authors for Hurricane Sandy libraries, a group established in November 2012 by author K.S. Brooks.
There is over 100 hundred writers from around the globe participating in the group and almost 1,000 books have already been shipped to the libraries in the tri-state area of Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
"This is a great opportunity to connect libraries in need of authors willing to donate books. We work closely with the library systems to make certain they receive the genres they want," says the group founder K.S. Brooks. "We're happy to have Ann Morris as part of our effort. Her generosity, which includes absorbing all the related costs, is much appreciated."
Morris shared with the interviewer that she has another book scheduled for release in the very near future in both English and Spanish. The book's titled "Surprise in Auntie's Garden" and "Sorpresa en el jardin de la tia!" libraries
