’ve asked people what democracy means to them, like what kind of terms has to be met in order for it to be a “democracy”. It’s a difficult question, as it is a state of mind more than a checklist. When considering the subject, it’s probably a good thing that democracy can’t be determined down to the last detail, in the long run. But there is a drawback with this, that needs to be addressed.
